Hey Chuck, thanks for writing this book in such a nice way to help guys like me, who are not math-minded by nature. In your book, even guys like me can grasp the root understanding of the math theories. I truly appreciate it. I am almost done reading your book, but I have one question: how can one apply such theories like decision trees or calculationg the EVs right in the middle of a hand? I mean, I think there must be some practical ways of making such calculations or otherwise one must have a mind like a computer to make all such calculations. Is there a method to practice making all these EV calculations? The reason I am asking this is that eversince I started reading about poker math, my game have worsened such that I started loosing more. Before reading all these theories, I was a tight player, mostly going with instinct but in the end, I hardly ever ended up in loss. By the way, up until the october 2018, I was an occasional player, and after that time, I started playing regularly by reading more on poker, listening podcasts, watching Youtube etc. The more I read and gained more knowledge, the more I started to loose, and it seems like my mind was perplexed with all that knowledge. Therefore, I am asking if there are more pratical ways to make all these calculations on the table right in the middle of a hand, before making a huge bet or not.
