Become the Poker Player You Always Knew You Could Be!
Hi, my name is Chuck Clayton. I am a results-based coach who teaches the math of poker and how to apply it with the rest of your game. I am looking for individuals (and groups) who are serious about improving their game, open to new ideas & concepts and are willing to put in the work.
I primarily teach tournament play, however many of the concepts can be used in cash play as well. My coaching and trainings are customized to your needs so that you gain as much as possible in the time we invest together! The rewards for understanding the math at a gut level is a competitive advantage resulting in a higher level of confidence and potential win rate. You will know more than most players who depend heavily on good cards, and good luck. Note: Besides coaching and training I also do speaking for organizations and businesses. |

1. Starting the coaching with a Skills Assessments
Below on the left is a high-level graphic of some of the key skills to become a feared shark at Texas No-Limit Hold’em. On the right is a Skills Assessment noted in the graphic. There are four tiers of skill.
I will have you fill out each column with your current skill level on a scale of 1–10. The more candid you are about your skills, the better. The purpose of this graphic and the graphic below it is to determine the areas you need to improve your game.

2. Going over the different types of hands you have had during games.
I find this a very effective way of mentally breaking down a hand and understanding the all important equity you have against your opponent(s). We will cover many important aspects of the hand such as:
- Your position
- Your chip stack size
- The phase of the tournament
- Your odds, outs, probabilities and more
- The different types of equity available to you
- Your style (loose-aggressive, tight-aggressive etc)
- The type of player(s) you are up against
- What his (their) stack size is (are)
- And much more!
Poker Training
(for Groups or Organizations)
(for Groups or Organizations)
An educated guess is that Poker Math is ~ 40% of the game (or more). One way to gain a competitive edge is to learn the math and how to apply it effectively with the rest of your game.
That is what I will teach you to do! You will learn to make mathematically correct decisions at the poker tables. And, you will learn to couple that knowledge with a solid all-around game. The rewards for understanding the math at a gut level is a competitive advantage resulting in a higher level of confidence and potential win rate. You will know more than most players who depend heavily on good cards, and good luck. |
